As an Affiliate of the IAFF, Billings Firefighters IAFF Local 521, was chartered on June 23, 1937. We strive to constantly better our community though a myriad of events including our Rich-Du-Vual Benevolent Fund, MDA boot drive, MDA lockup, Special Olympics "Over the Edge," and many other community events and fundraisers. Additionally as a local we strive to always try to help our members achieve the highest possible level of service to the citizens we are sworn to protect. The IAFF, IAFF 7th District, and IAFF Local 521 form a network of dedicated firefighters to keep up with the latest health and safety topics that affect firefighters, and in turn, the citizens in our respective jurisdictions. Everything from state of the art cancer research to the latest firefighting methods are avenues to pursue to make sure that we can provide the best possible service to you.
