The Heights Problem
We want your family to know that when you call 911, enough firefighters will respond to your emergency. The Fire Department, led by Chief Rash has outlined a plan to bring the service you deserve up to par. The city council now needs to know you want this to happen in a timely manner.
You can purchase tickets from any Billings Firefighter. Scheels also has tickets for sale. If you would like to PM us on facebook, we can figure out how to get to you! Or stop in to the firestation downtown. Or you can text me @ 698-2779 and ask for gun raffle tickets.
Thanks for your support.
Billings Firefighters Media Manager
Your local 521 Billings firefighters are teaming up with Usborne books to outfit all of the Billings fire trucks with comfort bags for kids in crisis. These bags will be used to assist children whose families are struck by tragedies in our community.
Comfort bags will include:
Storybook (specifically for kids dealing with difficult situations)
Firefighter non-fiction book
Reusable cinch bag
We are hoping to get 4 bags on each of the trucks that serve the Billings community.
Every $20 donation builds a bag to give to a child in need. 100% of the money raised will be used for these comfort bags. Usborne Books and More will match 50% of all money raised. They will also give a portion of proceeds on specific books to the Scott Carter Foundation which helps Pediatric Cancer Patients.
With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of children in our community, offering them comfort in a difficult time.
The MSCOPFF Legislative Conference and Spring Mini Ed Seminar will be in Helena Jan 30th-Feb 1st. Anyone interested in attending, please contact an eboard member ASAP.
P.S. This is a great way to start to get involved and to meet many members from around the state.
